Produtos naturais alucinógenos constituem um importante e interessante grupo de substâncias, em especial os alcaloides, classe de substâncias para as quais são observadas inúmeras atividades biológicas e farmacológicas, incluindo as propriedades alucinógenas apresentadas por várias espécies vegetais que contêm tais metabólitos. Reconhecendo-se a importância histórica, química e farmacológica dos alucinógenos alcaloidais, este estudo teve por objetivo abordar e discutir, com base na literatura específica, aspectos relevantes sobre a história, a química e a farmacologia de alucinógenos naturais alcaloidais clássicos, como: DMT, escopolamina, harmina, hiosciamina, ibogaína, LSA, mescalina, psilocibina e psilocina.Downloads
