Similarity Check (Plagiarism)

All works submitted to the journal are checked for similarity using the Crossref Similarity Check platform powered by iThenticate (https://crosscheck.ithenticate.com), with the aim of identifying possible cases of plagiarism.

The report generated on the platform is analyzed by the Editorial Board, the editor-in-chief, or the assistant editor. If evidence of plagiarism or inconsistencies in the citation of references is found, the author will be asked to make the necessary corrections within a specified time frame in order to continue the editorial process.

If the work shows a high percentage of similarity or if the requested corrections are not implemented, the manuscript will be rejected. This procedure aims to ensure the originality of the content and maintain ethical standards in scientific publication.

The manuscript may be rejected immediately, regardless of the stage it is at in the editorial process, if plagiarism or self-plagiarism is proven.
